Ledro Valley

An authentic corner of Trentino between lake, nature and mountains

Ledro Valley is one of the most fascinating and authentic places in Trentino, where unspoilt nature is still the true protagonist and every season brings its own unique experiences. Surrounded by impressive mountains, lush forests and alpine meadows, the valley offers the perfect balance of complete relaxation, outdoor activities and the discovery of local traditions.
Here, time seems to slow down, the rush of everyday life fades away and every day becomes an opportunity to rediscover your natural rhythm.

Lake Ledro: a gem among the mountains

With its crystal-clear turquoise waters and beaches surrounded by greenery, Lake Ledro is the beating heart of the valley. During the warmer months, it is the perfect place to relax in the sun, enjoy a refreshing swim or try water sports such as canoeing, SUP and sailing.
Walking or cycling around the lake means immersing yourself in an atmosphere of unique peace and tranquillity, ideal both for families and for anyone looking for a holiday dedicated to pure wellbeing.

A paradise for nature and sports lovers

Whether you prefer relaxing walks along the valley floor, scenic high-altitude hikes or exciting mountain bike and e-bike trails, Ledro Valley offers an extensive network of routes suitable for every level.
For those interested in history and culture, the valley is also home to precious treasures such as the renowned Lake Ledro Pile Dwellings Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can take a fascinating journey back in time.

Ledro Valley is located in south-western Trentino, nestled between Lake Garda and the Giudicarie Valleys, at an altitude of around 660 metres. Its location is exceptional: it is just 15 km from Riva del Garda. This makes it the perfect starting point for enjoying the lively atmosphere of Lake Garda before retreating to the peace, quiet and pure mountain air of Ledro Valley.

Every season has its own magic!

Summer is perfect for swimming in the lake, hiking and escaping the heat of the lowlands. Autumn brings a spectacular display of foliage in the forests, together with the flavours and traditions of local cuisine. Spring is ideal for e-bike rides through flower-filled meadows, while winter offers invigorating walks, snow-covered mountain peaks and a wonderfully peaceful, fairytale atmosphere.
